I’m the Group Digital Manager at Brickworks Building Products overseeing a portfolio of 15 strongly branded websites and leading a team of 11 staff. With 10 years of experience, I have worked in medium to large organisations helping them with all aspects of digital marketing.
Within the area of digital marketing I have experience running SEO / SEM campaigns, building, developing and managing websites in WordPress CMS, Microsoft Kentico, Magento e-commerce, EDMs, mobile marketing, membership sites, and creating social media campaigns using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Google Plus and Youtube.
I’m also the host of a very popular podcast show called Property Investory receiving over 30,000 downloads a month showing to property investors the latest stories, strategies, and examples from Australia’s most innovative property experts.
On the video front, I’m also creator of two extremely popular YouTube Channels receiving over 1.5 million views and over 14,500 subscribers, showing my vast experience with engaging viewers online.
I’ve been interviewed across 30 different podcasts from around the world, featured on numerous world-class blogs and invited to speak at numerous events with over 100 attendees.
It has not always been this way. I have been through many challenges from losing my job working in a recruitment agency to closing down a toilet deodourising business and making a loss of $24,000 during the Global Financial Crisis. This helped me overcome adversity, learn from my mistakes and now helping Brickworks Building Products profit from their digital presence.
Further, I have enjoyed contributing in a local community project called Max Potential, where I was a mentor to students in high schools.
In my spare time I love being with my beautiful wife and children watching movies, travelling to different places to try new food and exploring different cultures around the world.
